Nestled at the foothills of Pikes Peak, west of Colorado Springs, Colorado is Whispering

Pines Rabbittree.  The beauty of the Rocky Mountains, fresh mountain air, sparking sunny days and a lot of altitude enhance the magnificent environment of our homes and rabbitry.

We are Kay Miller and Laureen Wark, proprietors of the Whispering Pines Rabbittree. We met at the Colorado State Fair in 1979 (in the rabbit barn).  From that point on, a friendship developed.

In 1980, we purchased and had shipped in our first Holland Lops and so Colorado had an introduction of the breed to the state.  Our Hollands have come a long way from the original six obtained in 1980.

We show mainly at local shows in state, but do an occasional national convention.  Look for our state point standing and quality points.  We are members of the American Rabbit Breeders Association and the Holland Lop Rabbit Specialty Club.

UPDATE -This year, Whispering Pines Rabbitree went to ARBA nationals for the first time and placed all bunnies in the top 25. Two solid junior does 11th and 3rd out of 168 in class. Solid junior buck 10th out of 225 in class.  Broken junior doe 11th out of 189 junior does.

Continuing to set our goals and dreams high in our dedication to the development of the Hallmark breed - Holland Lops.
